Weather you are just starting your wedding planning journey or if you have almost everything planned and are just finishing, or maybe you have not started and are just looking around, congratulations and welcome to my website!
At your wedding, my aim is to capture not just how the day looks but also how it feels. Weddings are filled with all types of emotions that you will relive again and again though your images for many years to come.
Choosing the right photographer for you may be a hard decision as it is a lifelong investment in images you will treasure.
The Consultation
The consultation is a very informal meeting. We go over all the details of your wedding and you get to see a variety of wedding galleries from getting ready to late evening so you can have a better view of how I work throughout a whole wedding day.
During the consultation there is no pressure to book.
After the consultation I leave you both to have a think and a talk. I will hold your date for a week after the consultation so it gives you both time to decide if I am the right photographer for you.
Once you have decided, I will then send you a contract that covers all the details of the wedding and also all the details of the service you are going to be receiving. When you are both 100% happy I then send you the invoice and you pay the £150 deposit and the remaining balance will not be due till about a month before the wedding.
Wedding Day
I will be prepared and ready to go early morning, whatever time you want your coverage to start I will arrive in plenty of time to capture all the little details that you spent months putting together, the flowers, shoes, hair clips, dresses.. the list continues and they all need to be remembered.
While I am making sure I have all the details I will be quietly taking pictures of you and your wedding party as you get your hair and makeup done, capturing your natural happiness, smiles and excitement.
When you are ready I will take a some posed shots of you and your wedding party. I will then leave just before you in order to get images of the groom and his groomsmen as well as the rings and other details.
The Ceremony
I find out where I am allowed to stand and if I am restricted to certain places and then await your arrival. I aim to capture as much of every moment as I can from as many different perspectives as I am allowed.
Once you have exchanged vows and you become a married couple I continue to take images of your guests and also images of you both after you sign the register ( a staged signing )
After the ceremony, while you are talking to your guests, I mingle amongst them with my camera, capturing you all naturally.
When you are ready we then start to get people together and get the "formal" images done. I know most couples I talk to worry about the formals as they don't like posed images. I work fast during the formals and although it can seem "posed" this is the best opportunity to get all the family and friends together.
Posed and formal images don't have to be just that, they can be fun and if you want to add your own person touch to them.
After the group shots are taken I quickly take you both away to get some shots of just the two of you. I don't take a lot of your time and you will soon be joining your guests for your reception .
After your meal/buffet and the speeches it is time for you both to just relax, enjoy the evening. Dance with friends, have a drink, talk to friends and family you have not seen in a while and I will capture you all naturally enjoying your big day. I capture the evening, when you cut your wedding cake and when you take your fist dance as a married couple.
